Trash

The number of trash containers permitted for disposal per unit/property is three (3) 30-gallon trash bags or cans per week. If you use bags less than 30 gallons, put the smaller bags into a 30-gallon bag. Do not overstuff trash bags or cans. Anything over thirty (30) pounds will not be taken. Each trash bag/can over the three (3)-container limit must have a YELLOW (extra trash) $1.50 ticket securely attached to the top.

Brush & Tree Limbs are considered Woody Material and collected throughout the year at no charge to residents on the municipal program. Bundles must be tied, no longer than four (4) feet in length and no heavier than thirty (30) pounds. A maximum of ten (10) bundles is permitted each week.

Cardboard that is small enough can be placed into the curb side recycle bin. DO NOT use cardboard boxes as trash receptacles. Boxes broken down and flattened can also be placed in the dumpster placed at the rear of the township building on Village Road. This cardboard dumpster is for the use of any individual or business no matter where located.

Oversized Items require a RED ticket ($4.25) securely attached to the item. Two oversized items can be put out with your regular trash each week. Examples of oversized items are: mattresses, boxsprings, all furniture, televisions, bicycles, fish tanks, microwave ovens, barbeque grills, wheelbarrows (without the tire) carpeting (must be cut up in strips no longer than four (4) feet and no heavier than thirty (30) pounds.)
